Are you a driven and knowledgeable Planner looking for your next role? If so, our Cambridge-based planning team are looking for a Planner or Senior Planner to join them! This role is ideal for a Planner with an accredited degree who’s ready to kick-start their career with a respected, forward-thinking, and dynamic team.
While this role is based in Cambridge, its primary focus will be on transformative projects in the surrounding regions, including Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, and the South East. Our team handles a diverse array of projects, including residential, commercial, retirement living, and education developments, supporting the growth and regeneration of these areas.
From the start, you’ll have the opportunity to manage smaller projects independently while collaborating on larger, high-impact schemes across the region. Our planning team of over 65 members was recently recognised as one of the fastest-growing in the country. We also benefit from specialised teams in Heritage, EIA, Socioeconomics, Master Planning, Landscape Architecture, and Renewables.
Although this role is Cambridge based, we do offer agile hybrid working arrangements so candidates outside of Cambridgeshire are welcomed to apply.

What you'll be doing:
* Providing commercial and specific planning advice
* Proactively managing engagement with the local planning authority and other stakeholders
* Providing robust evidence to support the planning case
* Preparing high-quality planning submissions and Development Plan Representations
* Representing the clients' commercial interests throughout the planning process
* Independently leading small schemes
* Collaborate with the wider planning team, across offices, on national or regional projects
About You:
* Chartered membership with the RTPI or working towards qualification with an accredited degree
* Proven experience in town planning, with a strong understanding of UK planning policy and legislation
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
* A proactive, solution-oriented approach with a passion for planning and development
