Humberside Police – PCEP (Police Constable Entry Programme)

When you join Humberside Police, you’ll develop both personally as well as professionally. Through the Police Constable Entry Programme and the bespoke training you receive at Courtland Road (Humberside Training Centre) and on the job, you’ll gain skills for life that will serve you well as your policing career progresses.
What you need to know…
Undertake the PCEP training to ensure you have the skills and experience to become a Police Constable with Humberside Police.
This programme is designed for applicants who hold a minimum Level 3 qualification or equivalent (See Qualification Criteria).
You will be a Student Officer from day one, earning whilst you learn, and will spend two years following a structured work-based training programme that integrates your training and the achievement of Operational Competence on the job. You’ll cover all required Police Constable learning. This will be fully supported by our experienced in-house training team.
