Join the Wai o Rua - Stratford Aquatic Centre Team!
We're on the lookout for passionate and energetic Pool Lifeguards at all levels - casual and part-time positions. Whether you're 16 and seeking a fun after-school or weekend role, or you're 99 with a wealth of aquatics experience to share, we want YOU to be part of our team!
Positions will work on a roster system and will include morning, evening, and/or weekend work. Part-time positions will have a minimum set hours per week and work on a roster system. Casual positions will be on an on-call/as-required basis.
Lifeguards contribute towards a motivated and positive team, supervising the facility, providing excellent customer service, conducting pool water tests, and facility cleaning.

About You
You are a confident communicator with a positive, friendly, and can-do attitude. You will thrive as part of a team but work well as an individual. You will help set the atmosphere and environment in the complex while ensuring the safety of our users at all times.
A swim test will be included in the interview process.
Qualified Applicants will hold the following:
* Pool Lifeguard Certification
* A current First Aid certificate
* Water Treatment Certification
Unqualified Applicants will be available from 22 to 26 April to complete the training course.
