We are looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Scheduler to work in our reactive repairs team. Main Responsibilities: Running daily schedules for team of 5-6 trade Operatives (electricians, plumbers, carpenters, etc) Continually liaising with trade Operatives, tenants and clients (local authority or housing association) by phone, email and live chat regarding updates on repairs Arranging parts or materials for click/collect where not available from usual suppliers Logging multiple engineer work requests onto the in-house job management system and tracking each request through to completion Skills / Experience for this role: Experience required of working in a similar role scheduling routes and issuing jobs to engineers Excellent communication and listening skills Ability to multi-task to manage a demanding workload in a fast-paced environment Excellent resource planning and administration skills Gilmartins is a family owned and run business; our staff are valued and our ethos is to promote from within.
