An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated member of staff to join the Continuing Healthcare team. The post holder will be supported by a Band 5 and will assist the team to deliver the team objectives.
The Health Board employs over 10,000 staff and has a budget of around £0.8 billion. We are responsible for the operation of four district general hospitals, other acute and community hospitals, and a network of health centres, clinics, community health team bases, and mental health units. In addition, it also coordinates the work of GP practices and NHS services provided by dentists, opticians, and pharmacies.
Main duties of the job
1. Prepare weekly reports
2. Undertake monthly reconciliations
3. Assist with month end process
4. Provide support for year end process
5. Maintain and update National Complex Care Database
6. Liaise with Local Authorities in relation to queries, recharges, and pooled budgets
7. Assist in ensuring processes within the Continuing Healthcare section are transacted in the most efficient and effective manner
It is essential that candidates have minimum qualifications requirements, previous accounts experience, and IT skills, particularly spreadsheets. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post. English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
