Agility is working with a manufacturing company based in Stockport and they are looking for a bookkeeper/accounts professional to join our friendly team.
They are looking for an experienced bookkeeper and accounts administrator who will become an integral member of the team. The role will be varied, where you will take ownership of accounts, staff payroll and administration, ensuring no two days are the same.
What you will be doing:
1. Maintaining the books
2. General office and administrative requirements
3. Sales and Purchase Ledger reconciliation
4. Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts
5. Processing and managing payroll, ensuring PAYE is reconciled
6. Preparing and producing monthly management accounts
7. Annual VAT return preparation and liaison with HMRC
8. Credit control, including preparing and sending monthly statements, chasing aged debtors, and recording communications accurately
9. Taking ownership of all accounting emails and routing to the relevant colleague
10. Data analysis
11. General HR administration and documentation
12. Staff expense validation and approval
13. Customer engagement via telephone, email and in person
About you:
1. Experience using Xero
2. HMRC administration
3. Credit Control
4. PAYE management
5. Payroll management
6. Production of customer statements
7. Debt collection management
