We specialize in the development of cutting-edge active implantable medical devices About the Role As an Office Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, managing facilities, administration, HR support, and health & safety. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring efficiency across the site, working closely with teams to create a productive, engaging, and well-organised environment. Key Responsibilities • Office & Facilities Management – Oversee day-to-day office operations, manage suppliers, handle purchasing, and coordinate facilities-related issues.• Culture & Employee Engagement – Work closely with HR providers and management to drive team engagement and support onboarding.• Health & Safety Compliance – Act as Fire Warden & First Aider, manage risk assessments, and ensure adherence to HSE regulations.• Event & Meeting Coordination – Organise on-site meetings, manage conference room bookings, and assist with local events.• Tech & Inventory Management – Maintain IT asset records, manage office supplies, and support stock control. What We’re Looking For • Previous experience in an Office Manager role (preferably in manufacturing or engineering).• Strong educational background, with a minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grade A-C / 9-5)• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations (Fire Warden, First Aid, or Mental Health First Aid training is a plus).• Project management certification / qualification is advantageous.• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail.• Confident in problem-solving and decision-making in a dynamic environment.• A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, highly visible role.
