SEND Sports Coach
Location: Greystone Community Centre, Close Street, Carlisle, CA1 2HA
Salary: £12-£17 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Hours:
Saturdays from 26th October (10am-3pm)
October Half-Term Monday 28th October - Friday 1st November (10am-3pm daily)
We are working with one of the fastest growing organisations in the UK sport and education sectors who have a passion for making a difference to the communities they work in, and they are looking for talented people with similar passions to join their team to make a difference in the lives of SEND children.
Their projects focus on supporting children and young people who do not usually participate in sport or physical activity to engage in healthy, fun activities, and they are offering an extremely rewarding opportunity to experienced and qualified staff to join them in this period of growth.
As an SEND Sports Coach you will play a critical role in supporting physical, mental and emotional health throughout the UK through the design and delivery of support high quality sport, activity and play programmes for children with additional needs.
The role offers regular hours on Saturdays and can be fit in around other work commitments throughout the week and the organisation also offers the potential for further hours during school holidays, including guaranteed hours during the upcoming October Half-Term

You will ideally need:
* Experience and suitable qualifications for delivering and/or coordinating sport, activity or play projects
* Experience working with children with additional needs
* Confident communication skills
* To be a team player (you'll work as part of a national organisation), but equally as productive when working independently
* To be committed and passionate in making a difference to the lives of children with additional needs
