Working for an established organisation who offer good quality support, housing and resettlement to vulnerable people we require a Night Project Worker to work at their service for young people in Morecambe. Permanent over 37.5 hours per week, 4 nights on and 4 off, rota system. The role: To provide on site presence on the night shifts providing support within the service around health and safety checks, building checks and ensuring the security and safety within the service Working alongside other Night Project Worker working a 4 on and 4 off rota system with shifts including 20.00-6.30am/9pm-8am Monitor CCTV and supervise residents in and out of the building Support residents where they need it and be able to deal with any behaviours that may challenge Report writing and updating record logs To take appropriate immediate action in contacting emergency services and to accordingly take further action if required with authorisation limits Responding to, dealing with and reporting any incidents within the service or directly outside The Ideal candidate: You will ideally have experience of working Night shifts and be flexible to work on a rota including occasional weekends You may have experience of working with young people or with adults in a similar setting and be able to work with people whose behaviour may challenge and be able to diffuse situations where they arise. You will be supportive and have good communication skills both written and verbal and be able to produce accurate reports where applicable Your IT skills will be excellent and you will be able to effectively work with computer systems and IT functions.
