The Role We are excited to announce an opportunity for an Industry Placement Trainer to join our team. This role is pivotal in fostering meaningful employer relationships and supporting students to achieve success across apprenticeships and industry placements. Your Responsibilities Will Include: As an Industry Placement Trainer, you will play a central role in shaping the learning journey and engaging with industry partners. Key responsibilities include: Liaising with BD (SMEs) Generates leads for Commercial and Apprenticeships FE progression into Apprenticeships Coordinating area industry updating for team Finds opportunities for CPD Links with Professional and Trade Organisation Industry placements Coordinate with programme teams to understand the sequence of industry placements at a programme level and plan them accordingly. Build and maintain relationships with local employers to secure a variety of placement opportunities. Assist students in securing relevant and meaningful placements, providing guidance and support throughout the process. Conduct thorough due diligence for all industry placements to ensure compliance. Track the progress of industry placement hours and implement interventions when progress is insufficient. Ensure all placements are logged on relevant systems (e.g., eTrackr, Navigate) by specified deadlines. Act as the main point of contact for students, employers, and curriculum colleagues regarding industry placements. Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of placements, gathering feedback from students and employers to inform future planning. Gain sufficient competency to carry out role-specific activities using required software (Navigate, Smartsheet, Powerpoint, MS Team, Canvas, Dynamics CRM, and OneFile). Why Join Us?
