Position Overview
The Residential Property Paralegal will play a crucial role in supporting the property team, handling a range of conveyancing tasks from inception to post-completion. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering high-quality legal services to clients across the UK.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct thorough Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks
2. Draft standard correspondence and legal documents
3. Order property searches and manage search results
4. Handle Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) returns
5. Prepare and submit Land Registry applications
6. Review and maintain client account ledgers
7. Communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders
8. Assist fee-earners throughout the conveyancing process
Requirements
1. Minimum of 6 months' experience as a residential property paralegal
2. Familiarity with conveyancing procedures and legal terminology
3. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
4. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software
6. Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
