One of the top 10 construction businesses in Canada, working on major building projects of c£30m to £200m, are looking to recruit UK Commercial Managers for their business in Toronto.

The role of Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for establishing project schedules for high complexity projects. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining project schedules of any complexity level, preparing 3-week look- aheads, developing sophisticated schedule performance reports and dashboards, driving extension of time claims, carrying out complex delay analyses, and providing assistance with project budgeting, change management, and cash flows.

In order to be successful, you'll have a degree in Engineering or Construction Management. 10+ years of Planning / Scheduling experience in the required field (buildings, industrial, civil or infrastructure). Experience working on multiple projects from initiation to close out. Planning / Scheduling experience in a variety of delivery methods (EPC, Design-Build, CM, PPP, ). Direct exposure to the construction industry is essential and general Contractor experience. Experience using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
