We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to join our Technology team. This role is crucial in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure solutions that are scalable, secure, and highly available. About the role: In this role you will have a range of responsibilities based around infrastructure needs such as planning updates, implementing new Azure cloud solutions and producing quality technical documentation of all processes. You will also support more complex 2nd line requests that have been escalated and require solid technical experience to solve them. The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker with a depth of knowledge of Azure, will be adaptable to a multitude of situations and possess excellent communication skills. Based in Avonmouth on a hybrid working basis 2/3 days per week Compensation – competitive salary, bonus scheme, pension, 4 x life assurance, healthcare cash plan, 26 days annual leave What you will be doing: Designing and deploying Azure infrastructure solutions Managing cloud resources, automating infrastructure deployments Ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities of azure servers and services Managing security risks of server and client devices via Intune and Azure policies Development and implementation of on-prem to Cloud first strategy, migrating from AD To Entra ID Migrating end user device builds using Intune and Auto pilot Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to ensure best practices in cloud architecture About you: 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years focused on Azure. Microsoft Azure certifications AZ-104 & AZ-305 Strong expertise in Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, App Services, and Storage Accounts. Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation and system administration. Solid networking knowledge, including VPNs, VNet peering, Load Balancers, DNS, and Azure Firewall. Experience with identity & security management, including Azure EntraID & Active Directory, RBAC, Conditional Access, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud Experience of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights Proficiency with Azure Backup and Site Recovery Understanding of cloud cost management and Azure billing best practices Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Experience deploying and administrating IaaS and PaaS services Knowledge of at least one of scripting languages: Shell Scripting, Python, Powershell Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK Key Attributes – trust, collaboration, respect, passion, drive, resilience About us: Harding is the only 100% dedicated cruise retailer, proudly partnering with 12 cruise line operators globally, across more than 80 cruise ships either in operation or under contract.
