About the Role:
Randstad Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team and work within our partner schools across Haywards Heath. As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to young learners, helping them develop the foundational skills they need to succeed in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
2. Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
3. Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and support to help each child achieve their potential.
4. Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leaders to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
5. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a culture of respect and learning.
6. Engage with parents and carers to keep them informed of their child's progress and well-being.
Requirements:
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
8. Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 is highly desirable.
9. Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. A passion for teaching young children and helping them succeed.
12. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
