Your Role as a Fitness and Wellbeing Coach:
As a Fitness and Wellbeing Coach at Sidmouth Leisure Centre, you’ll play a key role in promoting healthy lifestyles and supporting
our members on their fitness journeys. Working closely with the Duty Manager and Fitness Lead, you’ll help ensure the smooth
running of our Health & Fitness Studio by delivering personalised training programmes, fitness assessments, and engaging
initiatives that encourage members to make the most of our facilities. You’ll also make sure safety standards are met, keep
equipment well-maintained, and support members in reaching their goals. If you're proactive, customer-focused, and passionate
about health and fitness, this is the role for you!
What We’re Looking For:
* YMCA Gym Instructor/Fitness Diploma Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
* A genuine passion for sport, fitness, and helping others improve their well-being.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to motivate and support others.
* The ability to stay calm in emergencies and work effectively as part of a team.
* Bonus points for holding a current First Aid certificate, exercise-to-music qualification, or other coaching certifications.
