Contract: 12 month secondment Closing date: 21 April 2025 Recruitment Partner: Matt Haywood - matt.haywoodboots.co.uk About the role Welcome to the Fraud Investigation Team within Central Operations – an exciting team providing a structured framework and control environment to routinely monitor, identify, investigate and minimise the risk of fraud and loss across Boots UK & ROI. As a Corporate Investigations Lead you will work cross functionally to investigate internal and external theft and fraud from multiple locations, and functions across the organisation. Reporting into the Fraud Investigation Manager, you will conduct investigations into suspected fraud and make recommendations to stakeholders on emerging trends in fraud and propose actions and recommendations to minimise the risk of loss. Conduct fraud investigations across Boots UK Support Office, Stores and Supply chain Work in partnership with supply chain partners to investigation theft within deliveries Provide investigation support to warehouse operations with the Store Service Centre and Burton Service Centre. Provide support for internal fraud investigations of subsidiary companies. To identify risk in current policy & processes, recommend new solutions to mitigate or minimise identified risk in all areas of accountability, influencing process owners to implement change Identify risk in current system builds and platform constraints, recommend new solutions to mitigate or minimise identified risk, influencing process owners to implement change This is a field based role and requires a high level of flexibility to conduct investigations at pace across the whole of the UK and Ireland. What you’ll need to have A proven track record of conducting end to end high quality internal fraud investigations. Experience of preparing case files from criminal prosecution Experience in the preparation of case files for civil litigation, and knowledge of theft and fraud legislation.
