Tewkesbury Academy is part of the Cabot Learning Federation, providing education to over 1200 students aged 11-18. We are well placed at Junction 9 of the M5 and close to the Cotswolds, the Malvern Hills, and the historic towns of Gloucester, Worcester, and Cheltenham.

Training is both local and/or delivered through our training facility at the CLF Institute.
We can offer NQT candidates an earlier start date to gain experience towards the end of this academic year.
What we are looking for:
We seek passionate individuals who want to transform education and contribute to the development of the Cabot Learning Federation. You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, have experience delivering the curriculum in your area, and be a strong communicator who can motivate colleagues and students. A well-qualified specialist, holding QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree, you will have the ability to teach Key Stage 5. We look for professionals with excellent class management skills and high expectations of work and behaviour.
Your duties will specifically include:
1. Planning outstanding lessons that meet the needs of all students while developing a high-quality programme of study that includes accurate target setting.
2. Monitoring and reporting on the progress of students and taking appropriate action to ensure all students achieve their potential through exceptional feedback methods.
3. Meeting the needs of learners from key identified groups, including pupil premium, looked after children, SEND, and High Attaining students.
4. Recognizing, valuing, and supporting the delivery of opportunities that extend beyond classroom delivery to enrich students' experiences.
5. Empowering yourself to develop your own expert practice and support the development of others.
