Job summary EAU4 is a friendly 24 bedded short stay ward. We take medical patients and have close contact with both our Emergency department and the Acute Medical Unit to create flow between our areas. Our aim is to facilitate high quality care whilst focusing on discharge planning early on or transferring patients to specialist wards if needed. Working with the multi-disciplinary team, as a Healthcare Support Worker you will be responsible for assisting the nursing staff to improve and maintain high standards of care, health and well-being of patients through assessment, treatment and rehabilitation. This is a fast-paced department and would benefit from someone who is looking for a challenge and has experience in an acute setting.
