Sewell Wallis are working with a small practice firm based in Doncaster who are recruiting a Senior Bookkeeper due to business growth. They are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper or Semi Senior Accountant to join their team on a permanent part-time basis - approximately 20 hours per week.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounting and finance professional with a background in practice which offers a great deal of flexibility.
What will you be doing?
1. Preparing all aspects of bookkeeping as well as VAT returns for a range of clients, ready for review.
2. Preparing financial accounts for a wide variety of clients, including Limited Companies, Sole Traders, and Partnerships.
3. Continuously using accounting software to maintain accurate and detailed financial records.
4. Acting as a point of contact and assisting with client queries.
What skills are we looking for?
1. Proven experience as an Accounts Senior or similar role in practice.
2. Proficiency in a variety of accounting software, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and IRIS is ideal.
3. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
5. Relevant qualifications are highly desirable.
