Maintenance Engineer

Monday - Friday (Days - 37.5 hours per week)
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer (Multiskilled) to support our significant capital investment project at our Taw Valley Creamery.
The role involves assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment within the plant. This considerable investment will transform our creamery over the next three years, enhancing both its size and strategic importance. The Maintenance Engineer will play a crucial role in this developmental phase and, once operational, will continue to support the operational performance of our new site.

How will you make an impact
At the start of the project, the role will be more office-based, focussing on reviewing and evaluating solutions from the project teams. Providing technical and engineering input to the tender process to ensure the right solutions are chosen.
Attend FAT or supplier meetings, which may include travel to visit third-party suppliers and OEMs.
As the project progresses to the installation and commissioning phase, the role will become more hands-on.
Drive and participate in the development of maintenance processes, tools, spare parts needed along with necessary service agreements.
The role will transition to a shift based/specialist maintenance & engineering position when fully operational.
What will make you successful
Ideally, you will be Time Served/Apprentice trained or have proven experience with fast-paced manufacturing environment
Experience in mechanical and electrical engineering within manufacturing, production, and process environments.
Ideally, you will have experience with fast- moving machinery, pumps, valves, inverter drives, sensors, relays, PLCs (Siemens), Site Services (steam generation plant, chilled water systems, compressors, processes) and CIP systems (chemical cleaning plant).
Computer literate SAP, Microsoft Office, SCADA, Trend systems, HMIS.
