Head of Transition and Service Design - Technology - Counter Terrorism Policing HQ
Salary: The starting salary is £90,336, including allowances totalling £2,928. The breakdown is £87,408 basic salary, increasing annually to a maximum of £96,341, plus a location allowance of £1,928 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.
Job Summary
The Head of Transition and Service Design will lead a team dedicated to designing the end-to-end journey of services, helping users achieve their goals and supporting CTP in delivering policy objectives related to complex technical solutions. Responsibilities include creating or modifying transactions, products, and content across digital and offline channels within CTP HQ and partner organizations.
The role involves flexible work on IT solutions within the DDaT and Change portfolios, overseeing multiple programmes/projects based on scale and complexity. The post may also involve collaborative activities with CT partner agencies.
The role requires close collaboration with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization, including the Head of Delivery, Head of ICT, SROs, Project Executives, Programme Directors, and other Unit Heads.
The ideal candidate is an experienced practitioner who can define best practices, influence organizational strategy, mentor others, and ensure effective service transition planning and coordination across projects, suppliers, and teams.
