A Distribution company in Roxwell, Chelmsford requires a Temporary Purchasing Administrator to join their team ASAP!
Paying £13.50 - £14.85 per hour, working Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm (once fully trained this position will become hybrid 3 days in the office and 2 from home).
*You will need to be able to drive for the location of this position*
Key Purchasing Administration duties for this position include but are not limited to:
Create and manage purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to purchase orders and deliveries.
Collaborate with finance and warehouse departments regarding any queries.
Assist in the preparation of reports and analysis related to purchasing activities.
Support the Manager, Logistics & Warehouse in various administrative tasks as needed.Role Requirements:
Proven experience in purchasing administration or data entry.
Familiarity with Sage and Navision would be a bonus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook & Teams).
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
