A lovely company based in South Woodham Ferrers needs a new Credit Controller due to retirement. This position is ideal for someone who wants to take ownership of the full function and enjoys a varied and busy role that involves a lot of administration. This is office-based, but they may consider one day a week from home.
Daily Duties
1. Managing the sales ledger
2. Resolving queries and liaising with customers
3. Working closely with the sales and customer service team to recover outstanding invoices
4. Setting credit limits and reviewing them
5. Managing customer direct debits
6. Posting receipts and reconciliations
7. Ensuring compliance with credit insurance requirements
8. Reporting on aged debt
9. Maintaining accurate records
Skills Required
1. An experienced Credit Controller who is comfortable in a sole charge role
2. Ability to commit to working in an office
3. Good systems experience and proficiency in Excel
