Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
As a Heat Network Manager at Rendall & Rittner, you will:
Oversee daily operations of the heat network infrastructure, including boilers, CHP units, energy centres, HIUs, and distribution networks.
Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and smooth network functioning.
Monitor network performance, diagnose faults, and implement timely solutions.
Manage maintenance contractors and ensure adherence to contracts and service level agreements.
Ensure compliance with health, safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental permits.
Maintain records of network performance, maintenance, and incident reports.
Submit regular reports to senior management on performance, budgets, and KPIs.
Act as primary point of contact for customer queries, billing, and service requests, ensuring high satisfaction.
Identify opportunities to optimise performance, reduce energy consumption, and minimise costs.
Stay updated on industry best practices, technologies, and contribute to long-term network strategies.
The successful candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent in Engineering or a related field,
Proven experience in managing district heating networks, with a strong understanding of heat network design, SCADA systems, and data analysis.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and in teams.
Professional certifications (e.g., CIBSE, IGEM), project management experience, and knowledge of renewable energy integration with heat networks would be advantageous
