Teaching Personnel are delighted to be working with a warm and welcoming primary school in Scarborough to recruit a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with a range of special educational needs including Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

Your role will include:
* Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils with additional needs
* Helping to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
* Supporting pupils with personal care, communication and sensory needs
* Working closely with teachers, therapists and families to meet individual learning goals
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Patient, kind and full of energy
* Passionate about supporting children with SEN
* Able to work collaboratively with staff and follow tailored learning plans
* Experienced in a school or care setting (desirable but not essential – the right attitude is key!)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
