Health And Safety Advisor
Location: Staffordshire
Overview:
We're looking for a proactive Health & Safety Advisor to oversee the implementation and management of H&S standards across two key sites. You’ll work closely with the QHSE Manager and senior stakeholders to maintain a compliant, safe, and forward-thinking workplace environment. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on continuous improvement, compliance, training, and cultural development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Champion a positive, proactive safety culture across the business
* Implement and maintain site-wide H&S strategies and procedures
* Ensure full compliance with legal requirements and ISO45001 standards
* Manage site risk assessments and ensure up-to-date RAMS for all activities
* Investigate incidents, non-conformities, and near misses, using root cause tools
* Deliver engaging internal training and support L&D safety initiatives
* Produce and present regular H&S performance reports and safety communications
* Conduct internal and legal compliance audits to a high standard
* Liaise with external regulatory bodies as required
What You’ll Need:
* CMIOSH or working towards chartered membership – desirable
* Experience advising in a multi-site, manufacturing, or engineering setting
* Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and audit processes
* Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels
* A collaborative mindset and a track record of driving cultural change
