The Area Sales Manager will be integral to the company's growth, focusing on building and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders across the construction sector. The role requires experience in the construction industry, particularly selling into contractors, and an understanding of the route to market. This is an excellent opportunity for someone keen to transition into the roofing sector.
Package: £45-50k + 20% Bonus, with potential to 3x the bonus (OTE £80k Plus) + Car/Allowance & Company

Role Overview:
The Area Sales Manager will focus on specifying flat roofing systems within various construction projects, collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors. The position demands a blend of technical and commercial acumen to ensure the company's products are positioned as preferred solutions, while
maintaining a strong pipeline of projects from specification through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to specify flat roofing systems tailored to project requirements.
Build and maintain robust relationships with decision-makers across the construction industry.
Maintain accurate records of specifications, project opportunities, and sales activities within CRM systems.
Manage the project pipeline, tracking progress from specification through tender and delivery.
Deliver presentations and CPD training to prospective customers and industry stakeholders.
Provide technical support and training on flat roofing products.
Monitor market trends and regulatory developments, attending industry events to promote solutions.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs for the flat roofing division. Experience & Skills Required:
At least five years of sales experience in the construction industry, particularly selling into contractors.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
An understanding of the route to market and a desire to transition into the roofing sector.
