This school is seeking an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join them from January to cover Maternity Leave. This school is a 1 form entry Primary School who provide a stimulating and engaging curriculum for children to build self-belief and be proud of their own achievements and learning. Your new role From January, this school is looking for a full-time candidate who can work in their Year 1 class. This is to cover Maternity Leave until August 2025. The Head Teacher is looking for an experienced Teacher who has great knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and can use your own initiative to plan and deliver high quality lessons and to work closely with the class TA to plan interventions and assess children’s development. You will be expected to: Hold great knowledge of the KS1 curriculum. Facilitate an inclusive learning environment. Great understanding of Phonics. Ability to differentiate lessons well to ensure everyone is able to access the learning. Create an engaging learning environment Work closely with the Class TA to support SEND children.
