As our business looks todeliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a DataManagement Specialist – SAP to join our Data & Analytics team to work onthe SAP Transformation project on Customer, Vendor and Material Master Data migrationactivities. This role will be responsible for maintaining Master Data, providingoversight of key data activities on projects, providing information on the dataenvironment and advice on the use of technology in a SAP data context.

1. Detailed knowledge of Business Process, Entity Relationship Modelling and SAP ERP Data Structures.
2. Experience with SAP Customer, Vendor & Material Master Data.

What You’ll Be Doing:

With a strong focus on projects to improveand standardise data management across Croda, you will:
10. Advise and guide teams to compile, check and analyse data for new system implementations and in support business initiatives.
11. Provide oversight of key data activities on projects, and additionally provide information on the data environment & advice on the use of technology in a data context.
12. Support the Enterprise Architecture function; undertake business analysis, design and model data and relationships and liaise with both technical & business representatives, specifically in respect to data in key system integrations.
13. Maintain the Croda Data Model and associated documentation.
14. Embrace and develop new technologies and concepts in the context of data and data management, championing their transition into BAU.
15. Devise coding and data standards which satisfy the operational needs of the business and best fit for IT systems, paying specific attention to the customer experience with Croda as this can have a significant effect on sales performance.
16. Provide data service, guidance and standards to all group companies utilising the ERP, web business and management information systems against agreed service levels .
17. Take responsibility for the co-ordination of remote data editors ensuring standards are consistently implemented, maintained and best practice is shared. Specifically ensure data changes are understood, consistent and communicated back to business users via various channels including video conferencing, telephone, email or in-person/remote presentations. This will include ensuring user compliance with guidelines & data provision.
18. Train data editors and staff in data related roles such as technical, sales and other business teams using workshops and presentations.
19. Promote best practice within the group whilst being aware of regional requirements and legislation. Participate and lead where appropriate in Global Data Management forums.
20. Initiate data cleansing activities and maintain regional process consistency with Global versions.
21. Ensure accurate and timely collation, entry, update and issue of master data and documentation within Group ERP systems against agreed Service Levels. Follow good data management practice with respect to the data life cycle; Work closely with QA, PSRA & other business functions within Croda.
22. Facilitate Master Data for Internal and External Financial audits and ISO/Customer audits.
