Work with a reputable agricultural business, is seeking a skilled and reliable Counter-Balance FLT Operative to join our team. As a key player in our logistics and distribution operations, you will be responsible for handling live loads of up to 1-ton bags of master seeds and ensuring their safe transport.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate a counter-balance forklift truck to load, unload, and transport bags of master seeds within our warehouse and distribution centre.
* Efficiently move products from storage areas to loading docks and delivery vehicles.
* Collaborate with the production and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines while handling heavy loads and operating the forklift.
* Assist with general warehouse duties, including handballing and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
* Work extended shifts, including 12-hour days from Monday to Friday, and 6 hours on Saturdays during peak periods.
Shifts
* Monday to Friday
* 0600 - 1800
* Saturdays
* 0600 - 1200
Requirements
* Valid counter-balance FLT license and experience operating forklifts.
* Physical fitness and the ability to lift up to 25 kg.
* Dedication, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
* Team-oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
* Flexibility to work extended hours during busy seasons.
* Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes.
Wages
Earn minimum of £750 per week
* £12.50 p/h basic
* £18.75 p/h Overtime
