Outpatients is rapidly expanding and providing more invasive procedures in clinic to our patients
We are looking for an enthusiastic Nursing Associate who wants to progress clinically and expand their current role
We offer full training and the opportunity to undertake the Band 5 training
Main duties of the job
You will need to be able to organise and prioritise effectively, demonstrate sound clinical skills and excellent communication skills to meet the following duties
To lead, supervise, support and work with the existing team
To oversee the smooth running of all Outpatient clinics
To understand patients needs and ensure their problems/complaints and any issues raised in clinic are dealt with in a timely, profeesional and compassionate manner

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
To provide skilled nursing care under the supervision of a senior nurse, undertaking routine and specifically identified tasks, this will include but not be limited to patient observations, ECGs, Venepuncture, Urinalysis, ENT suction, Tristell cleaning, chaperoning, Biopsies
requesting investigations via ICE
prepare and replenish the clinical environment for clinical proceedures
Organise junior staff, undertake "safety huddles" and organise breaks

Essential criteria
1. Registered Nursing Associate
2. Experience within a healthcare setting
3. Foundation Level Degree: Nursing Associate Qualification
4. GCSE Grade A-C English and Maths or Level 2 in Maths and English
Desirable criteria
5. Evidence of continued professional prtactice
6. Willing to undertake further training as required
Knowledge
Essential criteria
7. Demonstrate an ability to prioritise own workload in a stressful environment
Desirable criteria
8. Completion of an HCA development programme
9. Understanding of basic physiology, e.g. normal vital signs, fluid balance, nutritional requirements etc.
Experience
Essential criteria
10. Experience of working within a multi disciplinary team
11. Experience of with the public demonstrating good customer care skills
12. Experience of health coaching and promoting independent living
Desirable criteria
13. Previous experience of working within an acute healthcare setting
