Salary: Band 2E, circa £26,343 per annum, plus benefits.
An opportunity has arisen for an Evidence Management Officer to work at Milton Keynes. The purpose of the role is to receive all crime and drug property from police officers to ensure safe storage and documentation. Experience of working in a customer service environment is essential.
The Evidence Management Officer will be responsible for maintaining records for all property coming into Police possession. They will be competent in the use of Word, Excel, and Outlook and be able to input, retrieve, and present data using computer systems.
Other essential qualities include the ability to remain calm under pressure, work with minimal supervision, excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, and an understanding of the need for confidentiality.
This is a physically active role and will require the post holder to be on their feet for a considerable percentage of the working day. They will be expected to lift/move heavy objects and satisfactorily complete a manual handling course (training will be provided).
A full driving licence is considered essential as the capability to travel across the Force is required in order to undertake assignments in a timely manner.
