A Childrens Social Worker is required to join Leicestershire’s Child in Need/Protection Service. This is a great opportunity to be part of a close-knit team.

Details on role:
Children In Need (CIN Team)
Ideally need people that have been qualified for at least 2 years.
Also need people with experience of doing court work and child protection as this is our most pressured area as over 50% of our workforce are newly qualified workers.
Its hybrid working, we like teams in on a Tues and Weds but will be up to the Team manager if any other days.
Caseload will be approx. 20.
Locums park where all staff park in local car parks and claim back their parking expense.
Office address is Halford House, Charles Street, Leicester.
The cases will be in Leicester city unless of course he has cases where children are placed further afield but generally around the city.
As a Social Worker you are required to:
* Hold a Social Work England registration
* Be eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
