We are looking for an Attendance Assistant to monitor and improve the attendance and punctuality of students at Brinsworth Academy.
As part of our Pastoral team, you will work with staff, parents and carers to identify and support students whose education is at risk due to poor or declining attendance. You will help families to improve their children's access to learning and enable all young people to maximise their educational opportunities, especially students in vulnerable groups that may need additional support.
You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a good attention to detail and an enthusiastic approach to your work. Previous experience of working in a school or other education environment is essential, along with previous experience of dealing with sensitive issues and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
