**Job Title: Assistant Headteacher**
**Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum - dependent on experience**
**Location: New Barn School, Newbury, Berkshire**
**Contract: Permanent Term Time Only**
**Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm including 1x 5pm
finish**

Due to growth in our service, we are recruiting for an Assistant Head to join
our wonderful team at New Barn School located in Newbury!
**About the role**
We are looking for an Assistant Headteacher with a strong background in any of
the following areas, Behaviour and Attitudes, Quality Of Education or Personal
Development. The successful candidate will be passionate about building secure
relationships with young people and will have the ability to motivate and
develop staff in a team which prides itself as being collaborative and
supportive.
**The Assistant Headteacher will:**
* Be an inspirational teacher looking to develop the curriculum.

* Be an exceptional classroom teacher with high expectations of learning and behaviour.
* Have a good understanding of school improvement.
* Have a passion for building strong relationships with young people through trauma in forms and restorative working.

* Be creative in your teaching and strive to bring out the best in pupils.
Essential
* UK QTS or equivalent
* Experience of working with a multi-professional team
* Experience of managing staff

girls, aged 6–19 years who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health
