To provide administration support to the Security Department in terms of photocopying, scanning documents, booking meetings, booking visitors onto site, and supporting the recruitment of employees, agency workers, and contractors. There is an increase in workload in the department due to an increase in agency workers, contractors, and employees. The Security Department not only looks after SFL but all the satellite sites and supports outages at customer sites.
In addition, following an ONR intervention, there have been a number of actions placed on the department which require continuous support and will add extra work to the department in order to deliver these, such as delivering training to all current line managers and new line managers in the future.
The department has also undertaken the processing of induction training, which was previously carried out by other personnel within the business. Due to the increase in personnel being recruited into Oxide and other areas of the business, this has had a significant impact on the department. Each new starter, regardless of their employment status, requires over an hour of the security team's dedicated time once Rullion shares the supporting documentation for Security to review and approve/deny clearance.
