Technical Co-ordinator - Residential

Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 plus package

Our client is a high-profile award-winning developer based in Norfolk. The company has an excellent reputation for delivering highly desired, contemporary homes. Due to organic growth, they are actively searching for an experienced Technical Co-ordinator. The ideal candidate will be joining a small team managing the technical aspects of residential developments. This role would suit either an up-and-coming co-ordinator looking to take the next step up or an established technical coordinator looking to join a company that can offer career progression.
ROLE:
1. Obtain Technical Drawings and approvals to enable efficient site starts.
2. Brief, manage and drive the external consultants in the preparation and issue of production information to an agreed programme, fee, and scope.
3. Prepare the Design Programme and present it at Progression Meetings.
4. Ensure all statutory enquiries, sewer connections, and other section agreements are submitted and pursued for their timely return.
5. Oversee the NHBC/Building Regulations applications to approval.
6. Ensure that working drawings are in accordance with the approved Planning Scheme and ensure discharge of planning conditions.
7. Oversee preparation of Brochure Plans, Conveyance Plans, and Sales Area drawings.
8. Attend site progress meetings and carry out site inspections.
9. Attend meetings at various stages of projects (Land/Technical hand-over, Project Meeting, Optimisation, Progression, Technical/Sales, Budget Meetings, etc.).
10. Liaise and coordinate with other parties, both internal and external.
11. Attend Subcontractor interviews.
12. Respond to site queries and resolve Technical/Construction problems.
13. Issue drawings and information for construction purposes.
CANDIDATE:
1. Must have a strong track record within the residential sector.
2. Have previous experience of working for a residential developer or consultancy.
3. Willing to consider candidates from an engineering or architectural background.
4. Ideally degree educated within a construction-related subject.
REMUNERATION:
1. £40,000 to £55,500 per annum.
2. Annual bonus.
3. Company car or car allowance.
