Office Manager Location: Glasgow City Centre Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 I am currently recruiting for an office manager with a well-established chartered accountancy practice based in Glasgow City Centre. Bringing together multiple teams and disciplines, this practice prides itself on its dedication to clients and their improvement in profitability. About the Role Reporting directly to the Partners, the Office Manager will oversee the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring seamless administrative support various departments. This hands-on role includes managing a small but vital support team, coordinating office processes and liaising with stakeholders. You will also take the lead in organising training, marketing initiatives, and both client and staff events to promote engagement and a positive workplace culture. This role is suitable for an experienced office manager/PA from a professional services background. This role is based fully on site Mon - Fri 9:00 - 17:00. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Support:o Supervise and mentor a support team of three (a secretary, admin assistant, and office assistant), ensuring high standards of efficiency and service deliveryo Provide PA support to the Partners and assist during busy periods or staff absenceso Offer secretarial assistance to the wider team as needed Operations Management:o Act as the primary liaison with external IT providers, managing systems, contracts, and regular IT reviewso Ensure health and safety compliance and champion paper-light office initiativeso Oversee supplier and contractor relationships for maintenance and facilities management Financial Administration:o Manage office expenses, including credit card, pay-in, and cheque reconciliations.o Oversee the monthly and quarterly billing process, including preparing, reviewing, and issuing client invoices.o Collaborate with Partners and client teams to resolve billing queries efficiently. Engagement & Event Coordination:o Arrange internal training sessions and liaise with external providers to meet staff development needs.o Manage client interactions, enhance the firm's online presence, and update the website.o Organise key events, including client boardroom lunches, staff outings, and the annual Christmas party.
