We're looking for a Social Value Coordinator Apprentice to join our Transportation Team based in Brixworth, Northampton, working towards a Level 4 apprenticeship in Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability Practitioner.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. Whilst working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day-to-day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.
Location: Brixworth Depot, Northampton
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
How does an apprenticeship work?
As a Social Value Apprentice, you'll have the opportunity to gain practical experience whilst you study towards a level 4 qualification with RHG Consult.
You'll work closely with the Transportation team to support the implementation of the Social Value commitments across both contracts through coordinating social values activities that benefit the community.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Building relationships with the wider Kier team to get them on board with Social Value Delivery
* Organising meetings with clear agendas on how the Social Value requirements for the particular contracts will be achieved
* Providing proactive communications internally and externally to enhance the service and projects we deliver
* Supporting career events in schools and being a part of creating resources as well as coordinating volunteer events
* Working closely with our communications team to produce case studies and good news stories
What are we looking for?
The role of Social Value Apprentice is great for you if you are:
* Level 2 English and Maths
* Willing to learn
* Self-motivated, punctual, and organised
* Able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
To apply as a mature student, you will need at least 5 years' experience in a related career.
