Part-Time Level 3 Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are delighted to invite applications for the role of Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a Nursery-aged pupil undergoing assessments to identify specific needs.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one support for the pupil, ensuring tailored assistance within the Nursery setting.
- Offer personal care with sensitivity, ensuring the pupil's comfort and dignity are upheld.
- Support speech and language development through interventions guided by external professionals.
- Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies and adapt resources effectively.
- Observe and record the pupil's progress, contributing to their ongoing assessment.
- Promote a nurturing and inclusive environment to support the pupil's social and emotional development.
About You
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
- Have experience working with early years children, particularly those with additional needs.
- Demonstrate patience, understanding, and a passion for helping children reach their potential.
- Have knowledge or experience of delivering speech and language interventions (desirable but not essential).
- Exhibit excellent communication skills to engage with staff, parents, and external professionals.
- Understand safeguarding principles and the importance of confidentiality.

Additional Information
This role is offered on a temporary basis, with the potential for permanency depending on circumstances. All pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
