Finance Officer
* Hourly Rate: £14.28

I am seeking a Finance Officer on a temporary basis to join a great company in the St Helens area. The role offers a full-time schedule from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
The ideal candidate will be well-organised, capable of working independently, and have prior experience in a similar finance role, including proficiency with SAGE 50.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Managing sales and purchase ledgers.
* Handling petty cash transactions.
* Raising bank payments and reconciling bank statements.
* Performing day-to-day general finance administration tasks.
* Working under minimal supervision to maintain financial processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a similar Finance Officer/Accounts Assistant role.
* Proficiency in using SAGE 50 accounting software.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial management.
* Ability to work independently and under own supervision.
