We believe what we deliver is unique and game-changing, and we are committed to being ethical, responsible and socially minded Key responsibilities: As the Lead Project & Resource Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless delivery of client projects while managing internal and external resources to meet project demands. Your responsibilities will include Plan and deliver high-quality projects, ensuring they meet time, budget, and profitability goals. Proactively manage multiple clients and projects, providing updates, preempting potential issues, and maintaining clear communication channels. Create accurate costs and timelines for new business proposals and ongoing projects. Manage the allocation and scheduling of resources. Lead weekly resource meetings, communicating updates and adjustments as needed. Hire freelance resource when necessary, n egotiating costs and contract agreements. Onboard and offboard freelancers on relevant business systems, including inductions with relevant stakeholders and IT setup Oversee timesheet tracking for your projects ensuring all time is logged correctly to support reporting and resource planning. Audit and enhance workflows and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Support junior team members. Maintain a view of the new business pipeline. Work closely with the Head of Finance and the finance team to bring them up to speed on status reports, safeguarding profit margins. Essential Skills and Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a fast-paced agency environment Able to lead client meetings and business reviews in a confident and credible manner Highly organised and capable of managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously across different time zones Experience of Keynote, Excel and project management systems (ideally Paprika and Monday.com) Experience managing resources, freelance hiring and balancing competing project demands Highly proactive and adaptable, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality Commercially driven, with a focus on optimising profitability and efficiency Equal Opportunities: The Future Laboratory is proud to be an equal opportunities employer.
