About Us: Carousel Training Centre was established in November 1997 and is currently the largest training provider in Scotland to offer the Scottish Vocational Qualification in Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF Level 7. We are a Scottish Qualifications Authority approved centre and provide quality training to the Early Years sector. We do this by providing nurseries with Modern Apprentices who we then train to a standard of excellence in this very specialised area. The Role: Joining our team as an Apprentice, you will be providing office support and working with IT systems to assist experienced members of staff. The objective of the apprenticeship is for the Apprentice to gain the skillset required for a busy office. The training process will blend training and studies with on-the-job experience. What you’ll be doing: Learning to work with data to improve integrity and accuracy. Working with the Senior Administration Officer and Quality Assurance Department to ensure policies and procedures are in place to support the Quality Assurance process. Providing support and assistance in the facilitation of internal and external compliance audits. Ensuring that requests for information can be dealt with in a timely and precise manner. You will learn how to become a superuser on FIPS which includes inputting start details, maintaining records, checking approval of starts. Add information to internal databases for Starts / Early Leavers / Finishers.
