The successful applicant will: Help the Chef to deliver food service of high quality within the home, and also with meal service to the residents. D emonstrate the uppermost standards in cleanliness, food safety and hygiene in the kitchen area, including all equipment and appliances, adhering to all regulatory and statutory requirements and company policies and procedures. Responsible for the cleaning and washing of everything to do with the meals, from the workstation and equipment utilized in food preparation to any utensils used during the meal. Assist the Housekeeping Supervisor with providing refreshments for the residents and guests at the home. Guarantee that areas such as dining rooms and others are clean and stocked appropriately. Be organised and good at keeping record s as well as able to follow recipes. And, whether you are helping someone with limited mobility to learn to use an aid, offering emotional support to a confused or distressed resident or delivering care to someone at the end of their life, you will always have their well-being in mind above anything else.
