About the Role
Applications are sought for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join Professor Michelangelo Campanella's research group in the Centre for Clinical Pharmacology at the William Harvey Research Institute, Barts and the London School of Medicine at Queen Mary University of London. The successful candidate will contribute to the endeavors of the Mitochondrial Cell Biology and Pharmacology Research Group.
About You
You should have a PhD in biological/chemical sciences or equivalent qualification, have demonstrable research experience relevant to the project, and possess digital literacy. The ideal candidate will be highly organized with experience in laboratory research and experience with the following research techniques: live cell imaging, biochemistry, molecular biology, and tissue culture. Bioinformatic skills will be welcome too.
You will be equipped with adequate communication skills and an inclination for teamwork. You should be able to project a positive attitude, be attentive to technical novelty, and show openness to the circulation of knowledge. You will have the ability to work independently and have a sound knowledge of health and safety management.
