Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week
We are currently searching for a proficient, dynamic Capital Projects Lead to become an integral part of our central team. Working within the Health, Safety and Estates team, you will have overall responsibility for leading the delivery of capital projects to transform our buildings, through our estate provision, to enhance the learning and life experiences for pupils, colleagues and our communities.
The Capital Projects Lead will be responsible for the planning, execution and successful completion of a wide range of construction, renovation and refurbishment projects ensuring all work is completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
This is an exciting time to join our trust and lead our next phase of our health safety and estates journey as part of our imminent growth plan. We have a well-established Business Partner team who will work alongside the successful candidate specially within the estates portfolio.
This is an opportunity to shape the future direction and strategy of this critical operational function. We welcome applications from those who have experience in managing large scale estates and capital projects with demonstrable experience in relevant estates area including architecture and/or engineering, building construction, planning, surveying, construction contract management.
The Nova offices are in the Sir Colin Campbell building on the University of Nottingham Jubilee Campus. This is a modern, purpose-built campus with many state of the art, sustainable and environmentally friendly buildings. It has facilities available to our staff such as a Starbucks coffee shop, cafes, a convenience store, a discounted gym and plenty of outdoor spaces.
