Job Title: Shift Technician - Data Centre

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off

Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and maintain data centre infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and power distribution systems.
* Conduct routine maintenance tasks and respond promptly to equipment failures or alarms.
* Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues.
* Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment repairs and upgrades.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for data centre operations.
* Document procedures and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a data centre environment.
* Strong technical skills in areas such as server hardware, networking, and power systems.
* Familiarity with data centre management tools and monitoring systems.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, etc.) are a plus.
