WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
* 3 years of relevant experience or similar supervisory role, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
* Experience within a similar role within a hotel environment is desired
* Previous knowledge of reservation and revenue systems including Holidex and Opera
* Keen interest in Revenue Management or Pricing
Job Scope
Direct the activities of the Reservations Department to ensure the achievement of established quality and guest service standards and departmental revenue and profit goals. Assist the Cluster Revenue Manager with all aspects of competitor intelligence, pricing, management of room inventory and/or the yield hurdle points; distribution channels and market segment mix.

Key Job Responsibilities
Revenue Management:
* Oversee departmental payroll costs, focusing on rate strategy, initiatives, and inventory management.
* Prepare statistical, performance, and forecast reports as needed.
* Maintain security procedures for credit and financial transactions, ensuring guest data protection.
* Use Marriott tools (Marsha, Opera) to maximize revenue and assist in increasing occupancy and ADR.
* In the Cluster Revenue Manager's absence, manage daily revenue system operations, including yield hurdle points and inventory balancing.
* Maintain and share information on external events, competitor rates, RevPar penetration, guest capture rates, system contribution, and trends in room and non-room revenues.
* Analyze hotel profitability to evaluate business from local accounts and groups for future rate setting.
* Attend Revenue Max Meeting and generate reports as needed, as well as weekly revenue calls with RMH.
* Manage all distribution channels (CRO, GDS, direct and indirect internet) and ensure compliance with the lowest internet rate guarantee and Marriott's third-party distributor rules.
* Handle incoming reservation inquiries, securing business per agreed strategies and policies.
* Respond to RFP inquiries for group bookings.
People Management:
* Lead the team, assigning work and setting performance goals within their Cycas Personal Journey.
* Provide mentoring and coaching, offering regular feedback to improve performance and manage conflicts.
* Train team members on brand standards, service behaviors, and operational procedures, ensuring they have the necessary tools.
* Foster teamwork and quality service through daily communication with other departments.
* Recommend salary adjustments, disciplinary actions, or other staffing decisions as per hotel or company policies.
* Train hotel teams on revenue system functionality and updates.
Guest Experience:
* Ensure the Reservation Team provides prompt, professional service and personal recognition to guests.
* Address guest complaints, gather feedback, and build relationships to improve satisfaction.
* Analyze guest satisfaction and mystery audit data to develop plans for achieving goals.
* Conduct property show-rounds and engage with walk-in clients for future follow-ups by the DOS.
* Share relevant guest arrival and departure details with departments for VIPs or special requests.
Responsible Business:
* Audit financial transactions regularly to ensure compliance with government regulations and data privacy requirements.
* Act as a central communication point during emergencies or crises.
* Promote the hotel's and brand's reputation through local community outreach efforts.
* Perform other duties as assigned, including serving as the manager on duty when needed.
