Hear from our team about what it's like working at Policy Expert Your Responsibilities This role is responsible for designing and delivering engaging learning experiences for a variety of audiences through innovative content strategies and delivery methods. The Learning & Content Designer will work closely with L&D Managers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and manage learning programmes that enable our teams to provide a best-in-class customer experience. This position requires a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong project management skills, and excels in stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will also have experience mentoring learning design teams to ensure high-quality learning solutions are delivered. Instructional Design & Content Development: Collaborate with SMEs and project managers to design and develop engaging, effective, and compliant learning experiences using Articulate 360 suite (inc Rise and Storyline) and other digital learning tools. Write detailed, yet concise, scripts and storyboards for high-quality digital and blended learning content. Ensure all learning content meets organisational and branding standards and aligns with business objectives Team Coaching & Mentorship: Mentor and coach learning designers, ensuring high-quality instructional design practices are maintained. Provide coaching and guidance to enhance the team's capabilities in content development and learning experience design. Technology & Learning Experience: Drive the development of innovative and engaging blended learning solutions, incorporating digital learning experiences tailored to a diverse workforce. Liaise with content developers to ensure learning needs are met and content is optimally designed for effectiveness. Support the rollout and continuous enhancement of digital learning offering ensuring seamless integration of emerging learning technologies. Continuously improving design features on our Learning Management Systems (LMS) ( Docebo) including optimizing the user experience by organising content, refining navigation, and improving accessibility. Proactively engage with the account manager on system upgrades and enhancements and implementing and communicating these across internal stakeholders. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with SMEs, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure learning resources align with both educational objectives and organisational goals. Comfortable challenging stakeholders on the level of detail in content to ensure the result effectively supports the audience it is developed for. Liaise with content developers to ensure learning needs are met and content is optimally designed for effectiveness. Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement: Conduct quality assurance reviews and maintain all learning content to ensure alignment with organisational standards. Analyse the effectiveness of digital learning resources and implement strategies for continuous improvement to enhance learner outcomes. Who are you: Demonstrable experience designing and producing high quality blended content for Learning Management Systems (e.g., Docebo or similar platforms). Proven experience in instructional design, content development, or learning experience design. Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to mentor and coach others, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Proficiency in design technologies and tools, video editing and LMS platforms. Skilled in using digital learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360. Strong organisational, time and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while maintaining a proactive and self-motivated work ethic. Up to date knowledge of e-learning trends and best practices.
