An expanding business who prides itself in investing in talent and developing its staff is looking for someone to join their procurement department as a purchasing assistant.
This is an exciting and challenging role in a fast paced environment and would someone who has some experience working in a purchasing / procurement department and looking for a role that will provide development and career progression.
* Build and manage supplier relationships with excellent communication
* Assist with supplier negotiations
* Placing purchase orders with suppliers and track them to ensure goods and services are delivered in a timely manner
* Responsible for the day today management of various procurement databases (delivery notes, supplier details etc)
* Preparing cost analysis on various procurement areas
* Assist accounts in processing invoices and posting of invoices.
* Research new product's in the marketplace to help the business with new areas.
